Terms of Use
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Medical disclaimer. Baro is a personal self-tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it does not provide medical advice. Insights are statistical associations, not diagnoses or causes. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and never disregard or delay medical advice because of something in this app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Baro (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Licence
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
3. Your data & responsibility
Your data is stored on your device and is your responsibility. Because Baro has no server and holds no copy of your data, we cannot recover it for you if your device is lost, reset, or the app is deleted. We recommend using the in-app export feature to keep a backup.
4. Baro Pro
Some features are offered through an optional subscription or purchase ("Baro Pro"), sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Logging your attacks is always free.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it in any unlawful way.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app or its insights are accurate, complete, or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
